Rindra Rasoaveloson

IYENGAR YOGA

The class will be an Iyengar yoga class adapted to the needs and energy present in the studio each morning. It will begin with an awareness and acceptance of the body as it is; then opening postures will succeed to create space and release tensions. A focus will be made on one aspect or part of the body. Strengths, extensions, twists, inversions, work with partner will follow up to deepen the awakeness of the mind and body senses. The specificity of Iyengar yoga is the free circulation of the body (and mind) using props, adjusting precisely the body in order to find the right alignment, different for each one, at any moment.

The class will finish with some breath awareness and the ultimate pose of Savasana to let the resonance of the class do its magic and be ready for the next classes!
